I agree with this analysis ... I have no idea how to get out of the mess we are in.  To me, it is absolutely ridiculous we are there at all ... and I have no idea how to get out now.  I do think this country needs to come together.

Some candidate (I forget which - could have even been Hucklebee) said that we all need to make sacrifices and make the war real for us.  I think that is crucial.  In WWII they felt it every day at home.  Sacrifice was a key word.  

We are on such a collision with the war and the environment!
